Approximately 20% of the population has dyslexia or reading and writing difficulties. However, there is no typeface that is standardized to support these people.
Dysleksi is created with a focus on putting together a wide range of studies with a minimalistic idiom that references the classic sans typefaces.
The letters themselves are heavy at the bottom to create a baseline that avoids jumping between lines. This helps make it easier to read and creates a better flow.
Larger apertures and openings which make the shape simpler and therefore easier to read as it makes it clearer.
Longer ascenders and descenders to separate the different letters from each other and therefore make it easier to read. (STUDY)
Wider spacing between each letter that provides air and the ability to see the different letters alone. (STUDY)
